Privacy Policy

What we collect

Local Fun Findr is a discovery tool, not a data platform. We collect only what's needed to make the site work:

• Location data — only if you choose "Use my current location." This is processed in your browser and used only to find nearby places. It is never stored on our servers.
• Search and browsing activity — we may log anonymised, aggregated usage patterns (e.g. which categories get clicked most) to improve the product. This is never tied to you personally.
• Contact information — only if you voluntarily reach out to us. We use it solely to respond to you.

What we don't collect

• We do not create user accounts or profiles.
• We do not track you across other websites.
• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run the site:

• Supabase — our database provider, which stores place listings. No personal user data is stored there.
• Nominatim / OpenStreetMap — used to geocode city names when you use the location feature. Your query is sent to their servers but is not linked to your identity. See OSM's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — used to load our typefaces. Google may log the font request; see Google's privacy policy.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We may use a small session cookie to keep the site functional, but it contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.

Your rights

Because we don't store personal data, there's generally nothing to delete or export. If you believe we hold any of your information, or have questions about this policy, you can reach us at the contact address below.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Local Fun Findr after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
